Refund/Return Policy:
Treetop Herbals does not allow returns of any product other than the items listed below:
We allow returns on, weigh scales,[sent back to manufacturer - see accompanying instructions] and The Capping Machine only.
The original sales receipt MUST accompany any request for refund.
We accept returns for exchange or
refund 7 calendar days after delivery of the product. At our sole discretion
after 7 calendar days, we will offer an exchange or store credit only. Items
must be in "new, unaltered and unused condition". Definition of new,
unaltered and unused condition is:
-without showing
signs of wear or damage in any way
-within 7
calendar days of the delivery date (after 7 days no returns are allowed)
-must not be
a special order or a custom order
-unless noted
that it cannot be returned or has a different return policy time period
other than that 7 days noted in that item's particular item
description.
If an item is received damaged or is
incorrectly shipped by us please contact Customer Support immediately. Items
that are defective and shipped from us or items that you did not order but
received from us will qualify for store credit or a cash refund.
Refunds are contingent upon inspection of
item(s) once we receive it.
There is a 15% restocking fee for
returned items that are not being exchanged and are not damaged. Again you MUST
contact us within 7 days if you intend to return ANY item back to our store.
Items returned to us AFTER 7 days and WITHOUT contacting us will NOT be
refunded.
Customer is responsible for all shipping
costs if seller is not at fault.

Why am I being charged for free shipping? The free shipping parameters are structured like this: 1st Class Mail: There is a nominal shipping fee for 1st class mail when your order total is $8.99 or less. For orders totaling $9.00 or more, 1st class mail is free. Orders over 12 ounces are not available for 1st class mailing and are sent by USPS Priority. A fee of $5.00 will be charged to all orders for USPS Priority when the total order amount is less than $100.

A word about USPS Express-
The United States Post Office offers an Overnight Shipping Method called USPS Express. There are a few details you should know about their Express service. 1. The overnight [1 - Day delivery] only applies to heavily populated urban cities. All rural areas will take 2 days for delivery. The definition from the Post Office between the two are not clear. Please call your local Post Office for the exact details on this service to your town or city. We ship from Portland OR.
2. The on-time percentage; which is the percentage of time the Post Office will be able to deliver the Express package on the day it is expected is around 75%, and worse the week before and after a Federal Holiday. Meaning for every 10 Express packages sent out, 2.5 packages [I know what your are saying, what is a half a package] 2.5 packages will arrive a day late. Sometimes 2 days late. The Post Office doesn't have a great on-time percentage. Whereas FedEX on-time percentage is 99%.
3. Refunds for all late packages are the responsibility of the customer. I will assist you with receipts and other information but; the Post Office will not refund dozens of late fees back to me every day. I have tried it and the Post Office Watch Commander simply stopped refunding the money back guarantee to me, with no stated reason.
4. Tracking. The USPS does their best to scan [track] every package but once in a while, too often actually, no tracking information will show up when you go to track it. This only means that the USPS tracking system is down. When you receive a shipping confirmation from Treetop Herbals, rest assure your package has been shipped. Please call the Post Office at 1-800-275-8777 and keep pressing 0 through all the menu. Please do not contact Treetop Herbals about late packages, please contact the shipper.
5. If it absolutely must arrive to you the next day, please do yourself a favor and go with FedEX.
